Haven't written anything here for quite a long time...it's been half a year? Oh, my....

So first, why haven't I written anything? Simply, I'm just quite busy and have a lot to do - of course not only 'work' but a lot of activities which are more essential than this journal (sic!)

So here goes first 'odd' story

Long, long time ago...I can still recall this day, it was 7.11.2007 Yes, this day I got really unusuall e-mail - somebody was asking about my 'olish Autumn' ([link]) saying that his company wants this photo for their calendar and they will pay me quite big money for 6mpix version with come colours corrections
Not only I got amazed but simply I thought it's some kind of joke, I haven't written to anybody, I haven't advertised anything etc...
But when I got a contract's pdf on my e-mail I found out it might by worth trying...

...and in the end I finished with $$$ on my account and first sold picture I was also said that they will send me some calendars so I'm just waiting

Moral ? Don' allow to download full image version and take serious all those 'odd' e-mails, you never know what's coming

So here goes second story...studies

Most time-absorbing activity I'm studing on Wrocław Technical University, narrowly computer science orientated to programming, so it's really interesting

New friends, new experiences, 'some' parties, 'not-so-much' things to study (yes, my disillusion, there is 'damn-lot' things to learn :] ), new apartment,more independent life, generally no time to get bored and I really enjoy this - sleeping about 3-4 hours a day but having time for everything

But on the other hand there is not-so-much time to make some new photos, so you will be left with nothing new, and only old stuff, sorry But in February I might go on some mountains' trip so maybe this will be time for taking new stuff, but it's nothing certain.

Ok, maybe I will write something more when there will be time for this, now there is the time to go...

Next thing is that I ended my exams and finally I have holidays - 4 months Of course I don't plan to do nothing through this time (propably some kind of job), but during June I have a real break It means more time for (among other things) photography. I think it will be urbanistic session coming soon And some photos taken during trips.

And finally...
I passed all my writing exam and I must admit I'm positively surprised by results of Phisics' exam I got about 80% or even more Adding special points from high school exams (Politechnika Wrocławska) I will clearly have 100% (after adding I have about 108% but they are counting only 100% ) - so it's equivalent of 6 degree I wasn't prepared for such a shock because exams weren't easy and I wasn't preparing for them as hard as for math

But life is surprising and it's ok

Today I was also in Wrocław and I've finally bought new camera - Nikon S10 With 10x zoom, rotary lens and good stabilization and other options (like doing series of photos and automatically joining them into one wide panorama), moving from ordinary Samsung S600 is really amazing

Photography have never been mine main hobby and I don't think it ever would be, so it's enough for me, I'm satisfied

So, in the meantime I have to pass 2 speaking-language exams but they are not so important for me, it's why I hope I'll find so time to go on the walkabout with Nikon

Damn It's already afetr maths' exams

They were not bad - about 80%, but I made some calculating mistakes, so it could be 86% or even 90% because I've made almost all exercises

But life goes on

Soon, I'm hoping to but Nikon s10 so it could be a nice reason to sacrfice more time for photography instead of fantasy books and computer

But we'll see

Still I need to pass my phisics' matura exams, but I hope it'll be fine
